82 new cases of COVID-19 have been found in Albania during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 3188.
This is the first day without any reported coronavirus victims since June 23.
The new cases were found in Tirana (24), Shkodra (11), Kukës (6), Elbasan (5), Bulqiza (4), Kruja (4), Berat (4), Malësi e Madhe (4), Kavaja (3), Përmet (3), Korça (2), Puka (1), Mirdita (1), Kamza (1), Gjirokastra (1), Tepelena (1), and Dibra (1) .
The infected include people who have had contact with previously diagnosed cases, but also new ones into whom epidemiological investigations continue.
1832 people have recovered.
Around 31,000 people have been tested since March.
There are currently 84 patients hospitalized with the virus, 11 are in intensive care, six are intubated in aggravated condition.
1273 cases are still active in the country in Tirana (509), Durrës (215), Shkodra (173), Vlora (116), Fier (41), Elbasan (33), Korça (32), Lezha (64), Kukës (32), Gjirokastra (17), Berat (24), and Dibra (17).
