Nine people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 48 hours, bringing the death toll to 1190. The victims’ age varies between 63 and 83.
675 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 58,991.
719 people have recovered; 34,353 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 286 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 21 are in intensive care, 3 are intubated in aggravated condition.
23,448 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (13602), Fier (1670), Shkodra (1305), Durrës (1162), Vlora (969), Korça (961), Lezha (892), Elbasan (884), Berat (766), Gjirokastra (484), Kukës (409), and Dibër (346).
