Twelve people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 822.
About 53 percent of deaths related to the novel coronavirus have occurred since October 1.
823 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 39,014. About 65 percent of the total cases have occurred in the last two months.
535 people have recovered, 19,384 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 506 patients hospitalized with the virus, 39 are in intensive care, 11 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (430), Fier (100), Durrës (33), Elbasan (32), Korçë (27), Berat (27), Kuçovë (21), Shkodër (20), Lushnje (19), Kurbin (17), Vlorë (16), Mallakastër (15), Tropojë (14), Sarandë (11), Pogradec (9), Mat (8), Kavajë (6), Gramsh (6), Kukës (3), Tepelenë (3), Skrapar (3), two cases in Krujë, Lezhë, Gjirokastër, Përmet, one case in Has, Delvinë, Dibër, Bulqizë.
18,808 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (9827), Fier (1455), Durrës (1360), Korçë (999), Vlorë (959), Shkodër (892), Elbasan (831), Lezhë (725), Berat (606), Gjirokastër (534), Kukës (409), Dibër (211).
