Thirteen people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,393. The victims’ age varies between 60 and 80.
The number of new cases today was 865, bringing the total t0 78,992.
Those recovered in the last 24-hours are 498 people; 47,922 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 365 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 25 in intensive care, and 9 intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (421), Fier (55), Lushnje (39), Durrës (35), Kurbin (29), Vlorë (26), Sarandë (23), Delvinë (22), Elbasan (20), Shkodër (17), Berat (16), Kavajë (14), Gjirokastër (14), Divjakë (14), Kuçovë (14), Mallakastër (13), Lezhë (9), Gramsh (9), Peqin (8), Mirditë (7), Malësi e Madhe (7), Kukës (6), Rrogozhinë (5), Kamëz (4), Dibër (4), Skrapar (4), Cerrik (4), Prrenjas (3), Konispol (3), two cases in Librazhd, Tepelenë, Fushë-Arrëz, Bulqizë, Memaliaj, Kolonjë, and one case in Korçë, Tropojë, Mat, Ura Vajgurore, Vau i Dejës, Belsh, Shijak, Poliçan.
29,677 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (17052), Fier (2405), Durrës (1629), Shkodër (1453), Vlorë (1382),Elbasan (1348), Lezhë (1051), Korçë (936), Berat (921), Gjirokaster (608), Kukës (468), and Dibër (424).
