Albania COVID-19 Update 1 November: 9 Dead, 327 Infections, 57 Recoveries

Nine people – aged 44, 60, 65, 66, 68, 69, 71, 71, 78 – infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 518.

327 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 21,202.

The number of deaths and news cases marks a record high for Albania.

57 people have recovered, bringing the total to 11,246.

There are currently 293 patients hospitalized with the virus, 14 are in intensive care, 5 are intubated in aggravated condition.

The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (152), Durrës (25), Lezhë (14), Mirditë (12), Korçë (11), Elbasan (11), Kavajë (10), Gjirokastër (9), Shkodër (7), Lushnje (7), Berat (7), Kukës (5), Tropojë (5), Devoll (4), Mallakastër (4), Përmet (4), Gramsh (4), Fier (3), Kurbin (3), Vlorë (3), Librazhd (3), Ura Vajgurore (3), Fushë Arrëz (3), two cases in Pukë, Dibër, Prrenjas, Kuçovë, and one case in Krujë, Kamëz, Pogradec, Tepelenë, Roskovec, Bulqizë, Peqin, Klos, Skrapar, Cerrik.

9,438 cases are still active in the country, more than half on them in Tirana.
