Five people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,252. The victims’ age varies between 51 and 78.
656 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 64,627.
440 people have recovered; 38,421 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 258 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 24 are in intensive care, 3 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (190), Durrës (49), Elbasan (27), Vlorë (27), Krujë (25), Lushnje (24), Shkodër (21), Lezhë (21), Kavajë (20), Berat (19), Pogradec (16), Mallakastër (15), Kurbin (14), Fier (12), Mat (12), Sarandë (12), Dibër (11), Korçë (11), Kukës (9), Gramsh (9), Mirditë (8), Divjakë (8), Kuçovë (8), Malësi e Madhe (7), Kamëz (6), Klos (6), Vorë (5), Delvinë (4), Prrenjas (4), Bulqizë (4), Cërrik (4), three cases in Rrorgozhinë, Librazhd, Ura Vajgurore, Selenicë, Peqin, Shijak, Libohovë, Konispol, Skrapar, two cases in Has, Tropojë, Gjirokastër, Tepelenë, Belsh, Roskovec, Kolonjë, Patos, Poliçan, Përmet, and one case in Vau i Dejës.
24,954 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (14396), Fier (1821), Shkodra (1363), Durrës (1335), Lezha (1005), Vlora (1006), Korça (913), Elbasan (918), Berat (802), Dibër (556), Gjirokaster (457), and Kukës (382).
