Seven people – aged 47, 63, 70, 70, 71, 72, 83 – infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 605.
218 people have died since October 1, which amount to 35 percent of the death toll since the beginning of the pandemic.
490 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 26,701.
This means that 13,047 people, or 49 percent of the total, have been infected since October 1.
93 people have recovered, bringing the total to 12,667.
There are currently 378 patients hospitalized with the virus, 16 are in intensive care, 3 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (203), Fier (31), Gjirokastër (31), Shkodër (27), Lezhë (27), Berat (25), Korçë (22), Elbasan (19), Lushnje (13), Kukës (12), Kavajë (11), Gramsh (9), Vlorë (9), Kurbin (7), Kuçovë (7), Malësi e Madhe (6), Sarandë (5), Mirditë (4), Tropojë (4), Tepelenë (4), Kolonjë (3), Mallakastër (3), Skrapar (2), Krujë (2), Durrës (2), Përmet (2).
13,429 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (6640), Durrës (1115), Fier (1004), Korçë (813), Shkodër (787), Elbasan (688), Vlorë (579), Lezhë (569), Berat (412), Gjirokastër (365), Kukës (322), Dibër (135).
