Five people – aged 64, 66, 73, 75 and 71 – infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 429.
182 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 15,752.
90 people have recovered, bringing the total to 9,675.
There are currently 244 patients hospitalized with the virus, 13 are in intensive care, 4 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (61), Shkodër (19), Korçë (12), Lushnje (9), Fier (7), Berat (7), Durrës (6), Elbasan (6), Pogradec (6), Lezhë (5), Mallakastër (5), Gjirokastër (5), Prrenjas (5), Tropojë (4), Kuçovë (4), Sarandë (3), Dibër (3), two cases in Kukës, Kavajë, Vlorë, Rrogozhinë, Librazhd, and one case in Krujë, Fushë-Arrëz, Roskovec, Bulqizë, Skrapar.
5,648 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (2869), Durrës (590), Shkodër (426), Lezhë (276), Elbasan (238), Korçë (304), Fier (284), Vlorë (203), Kukës (159), Berat (153), Dibër (80), Gjirokastër (66).
