Fifteen people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,060. The victims’ age varies between 34 and 82.
There were 543 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 118 thousand.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 578 people; 81,061 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 27,365 of which 2478 doses today.
There are currently 485 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 32 in intensive care, and 9 intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (188), Shkodër (38), Durrës (37), Fier (31), Elbasan (30), Sarandë (19), Mirditë (17), Vlorë (16), Përmet (15), Gjirokastër (13), Pogradec (13), Lushnje (12), Finiq (12), Delvinë (11), Kamëz (9), Kurbin (8), Kavajë (8), Gramsh (7), Pukë (6), Kuçovë (6), Korçë (5), Mallakastër (5), Peqin (5), Krujë (4), Lezhë (4), Berat (4), Prrenjas (4), Librazhd (3), Kolonjë (3), two cases in Rrogozhinë, Vau i Dejës, Dibër, Patos, and one case in Gjirokastër, Ura Vajgurore.
34,896 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (23,290), Fier (2,572), Vlorë (1,614), Durrës (1,640), Shkodër (1,337), Gjirokaster (1,224), Korçë (912), Elbasan (565), Lezhë (744), Berat (385), Dibër (352), and Kukës (311).
