Two people, – aged 57 and 65 – infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 340.
The distribution of deaths is as follows: Tiranë (163), Durrës (45), Shkodër (39), Elbasan (21), Fier (17), Korçë (15), Lezhë (13), Kukës (8), Dibër (7), Vlorë (6), Gjirokastër (4), Berat (2).
152 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 11,672, the Ministry of Health reported.
The distribution of new cases is as follows:Tirana (68), Durrës (11), Elbasan (16), Shkodër (9), Vlorë (8), Kavajë (7), Berat (7), Fier (5), Pukë (5), Lushnjë (3), two cases in Kamëz, Gramsh, Kuçovë, and one case in Lezhë, Mirditë, Rrogozhinë, Mat, Vau i Dejës, Divjakë, Dibër.
53 people have recovered, bringing the total to 6,668.
There are currently 171 patients hospitalized with the virus, 18 are in intensive care, 8 are intubated in aggravated condition.
4664 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (2366), Durrës (520), Shkodër (362), Lezhë (267), Elbasan (248), Korçë (209), Fier (192), Vlorë (170), Kukës (140), Berat (92), Dibra (51), Gjirokastër (47).
