Six people – aged 28, 61, 63, 66, 76, 78 – infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 637.
Physician Ilirjan Draçi, 66, was among victims.
694 new cases have been found, a record high since the beginning of the pandemic, bringing the total number of cases to 29,126.
351 people have recovered, 13,804 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 412 patients hospitalized with the virus, 13 are in intensive care, 3 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (334), Berat (41), Fier (39), Lushnje (36), Vlorë (32), Durrës (28), Gramsh (28), Kavajë (19), Sarandë (17), Mallakastër (14), Krujë (13), Kurbin (12), Mirditë (12), Gjirokastër (12), Lezhë (10), Pogradec (10), Kukës (7), Kuçovë (7), Korçë (6), Shkodër (5), Has (3), Pukë (3), one case in Elbasan, Tropojë, Përmet, Dibër, Bulqizë, Peqin.
14,685 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (7158), Durrës (1182), Fier (1169), Korçë (844), Shkodër (812), Elbasan (762), Vlorë (686), Lezhë (635), Berat (501), Gjirokastër (439), Kukës (356), Dibër (141).
