Nine people – aged 60, 63, 63, 65, 70, 70, 75, 79, 81 – infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 646.
711 new cases have been found, a record high since the beginning of the pandemic, bringing the total number of cases to 29,837.
412 people have recovered, 14,216 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 420 patients hospitalized with the virus, 15 are in intensive care, 6 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (374), Korçë (61), Lezhë (44), Elbasan (41), Shkodër (21), Gjirokastër (19), Berat (18), Librazhd (11), Mirditë (11), Malësi e Madhe (11), Kavajë (10), Pogradec (10), Kuçovë (9), Durrës (8), Fier (8), Kukës (7), Tropojë (7), Mallakastër (7), Sarandë (7), Skrapar (6), Devoll (5), Lushnje (5), Vlorë (3), Kurbin (2), Tepelenë (2), and one case in Has, Mat, Bulqizë, Kolonjë.
14,975 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (7406), Durrës (1167), Fier (1162), Korçë (906), Shkodër (810), Elbasan (771), Lezhë (673), Vlorë (671), Berat (512), Gjirokastër (399), Kukës (361), Dibër (137).
