Five people, – aged 50, 74, 78, 86, 89 – infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 353.
The distribution of deaths is as follows: Tiranë (169), Durrës (45), Shkodër (39), Elbasan (22), Fier (18), Korçë (16), Lezhë (14), Kukës (10), Dibër (7), Vlorë (7), Gjirokastër (4), Berat (2).
125 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 12,073.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (46), Durrës (12), Elbasan (7), Mirditë (7), Krujë (6), Kavajë (6), Bulqizë (6), Kuçovë (6), Vorë (5), Gjirokastër (5), Gramsh (4), Shkodër (2), Berat (2), Kamëz (2), Mat (2), and one csae in Kurbin, Kukës, Has, Tropojë, Pogradec, Sarandë, Selenicë.
43 people have recovered, bringing the total to 6,831.
There are currently 175 patients hospitalized with the virus, 15 are in intensive care, 5 are intubated in aggravated condition.
4889 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (2418), Durrës (549), Shkodër (373), Lezhë (286), Elbasan (266), Korçë (221), Fier (209), Vlorë (185), Kukës (143), Berat (105), Dibër (67), Gjirokastër (67).
