Sixteen people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,122. The victims’ age varies between 54 and 87.
There were 494 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 120 thousand.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 690 people; 83,954 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 41,321 of which 4,998 doses today.
There are currently 390 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 33 in intensive care, and 13 intubated in aggravated condition.
33,946 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (23,074), Fier (2,575), Durrës (1,572), Vlorë (1,458), Shkodër (1,279), Gjirokaster (1,215), Korçë (810), Lezhë (674), Elbasan (444), Dibër (344), Kukës (326), Berat (175).
