Five people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,398. The victims’ age varies between 43 and 87.
The number of new cases today was 942, a record since the beginning of the pandemic, during which 79,934 cases have been registered in total.
Those recovered in the last 24-hours are 455 people; 48,377 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 405 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 25 in intensive care, and 10 intubated in aggravated condition.

30,159 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (17144), Fier (2479), Durrës (1708), Shkodër (1494), Vlorë (1445),Elbasan (1418), Lezhë (1064), Korçë (948), Berat (924), Gjirokaster (631), Kukës (474), and Dibër (430).
