Eleven people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,133. The victims’ age varies between 53 and 96.
There were 519 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 120,541.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 671 people; 84,625 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 44,830 of which 3,509 doses today.
There are currently 399 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 28 in intensive care, and 10 intubated in aggravated condition.
33,783 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (23,013), Fier (2,596), Durrës (1,561), Vlorë (1,456), Shkodër (1,267), Gjirokaster (1,196), Korçë (813), Lezhë (642), Elbasan (418), Dibër (343), Kukës (332), Berat (146).
