Thirteen people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1111. The victims’ age varies between 33 and 81.
389 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 53,81425.
497 people have recovered; 29,249 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 344 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 19 are in intensive care, 4 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (177), Elbasan (20), Durrës (19), Shkodër (18), Lezhë (16), Kavajë (13), Lushnje (11), Sarandë (11), Vlorë (10), Berat (8), Gjirokastër (8), Fier (6), Krujë (5), Korçë (5), Bulqizë (5), Kuçovë (5), Këlcyrë (5), Mat (4), Përmet (4), Gramsh (4), Rrogozhinë (3), Kamëz (3), Pogradec (3), Delvinë (3), Divjakë (3), Skrapar (3), Mallakastër (2), Dibër (2), Kolonjë (2), and one case in Kurbin, Devoll, Librazhd, Tepelenë, Ura Vajgurore, Belsh, Malësi e Madhe, Peqin, Klos, Shijak, Cerrik.
23,454 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (12937), Fier (1676), Durrës (1285), Korça (1025), Vlora (1062), Shkodra (1299), Elbasan (920), Berat (901), Lezha (884), Gjirokastra (554), Kukës (485), and Dibër (426).
