Four people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,134. The victims’ age varies between 62 and 89.
There were 659 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 121,200.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 522 people; 85,147 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 46,515 of which 1,685 doses today.
There are currently 392 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 25 in intensive care, and 9 intubated in aggravated condition.
33,916 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (22,994), Fier (2,647), Durrës (1,574), Vlorë (1,422), Shkodër (1,299), Gjirokaster (1,225), Korçë (809), Lezhë (635), Elbasan (453), Dibër (340), Kukës (346), Berat (172).
