Fifteen people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,681. The victims’ age varies between 18 and 77.
There were 1,039 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 101,285.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 989 people; 64,318 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 656 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 48 in intensive care, and 16 intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (471), Berat (56), Krujë (54), Elbasan (47), Vlorë (45), Korçë (40), Durrës (34), Fier (22), Kukës (21), Mallakastër (19), Lezhë (18), Gramsh (17), Përmet (16), Kuçovë (16), Kavajë (15), Gjirokaster (15), Tepelenë (13), Shkodër (11), Lushnje (10,) Kamëz (10), Delvinë (9), Pukë (8), Mat (6), Bulqizë (6), Peqin (6), Kolonjë (6), Kurbin (5), Devoll (4), Librazhd (4), Sarandë (4), Malësi e Madhe (4), Ura Vajgurore (3), Vau i Dejes (3), Skrapar (3), Patos (3), Has (2), Mirditë (2), Vorë (2), and one case in Rrogozhinë, Tropojë, Divjakë, Selenicë, Dibër, Prrenjas, Dropull.
35,286 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (21,718), Fier (2,864), Durrës (1,814), Vlorë (1,798), Shkodër (1,427), Elbasan (1,046), Lezhë (858), Berat (1.059), Korçë (982), Gjirokaster (955), Dibër (368), and Kukës (397).
