Fourteen people – aged 59 to 82 – infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 699.
565 new cases have been found, a record high since the beginning of the pandemic, bringing the total number of cases to 32,761.
373 people have recovered, 15.842 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 449 patients hospitalized with the virus, 12 are in intensive care, 6 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (146), Gjirokastër (71), Lezhë (50), Elbasan (37), Lushnje (30), Gramsh (28), Sarandë (25), Kavajë (24), Shkodër (22), Fier (22), Kuçovë (18), Korçë (17), Tepelenë (14), Përmet (13), Krujë (10), Pukë (10), Vlorë (7), Librazhd (5), Devoll (4), Has (3), Malësi e Madhe (2), Bulqizë (2), and one case in Kurbin, Dibër, Pogradec, Peqin, Kolonjë.
16,220 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (8331), Durrës (1164), Fier (1223), Shkodër (888), Korçë (870), Elbasan (813), Vlorë (801), Lezhë (699), Berat (499), Gjirokastër (476), Kukës (323), Dibër (133).
