Six people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1117. The victims’ age varies between 37 and 83.
503 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 54,317.
550 people have recovered; 29,799 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 337 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 24 are in intensive care, 5 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (169), Shkodër (27), Vlorë (26), Durrës (23), Sarandë (23), Fier (20), Lezhë (18), Kurbin (17), Lushnje (16), Kukës (14), Kavajë (13), Elbasan (12), Krujë (10), Peqin (10), Korçë (9), Berat (9), Malësi e Madhe (8), Gjirokastër (7), Tropojë (6), Delvinë (6), Has (5), Dibër (5), Skrapar (5), Rrogozhinë (4), Gramsh (4), Shijak (4), Kuçovë (4), Maliq (4), Mat (3), Klos (3), two cases in Devoll, Librazhd, Kamëz, Përmet, Cerrik, Dropull, and one case in Pukë, Pogradec, Tepelenë, Ura Vajgurore, Fushe Arrëz, Kolonjë, Patos.
23,401 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (13000), Fier (1607), Durrës (1274), Korça (1008), Vlora (1077), Shkodra (1309), Elbasan (906), Berat (883), Lezha (875), Gjirokastra (527), Kukës (502), and Dibër (433).
