Albania COVID-19 Update 23 November: 17 Dead, 795 Infections, 388 Recoveries

Seventeen people, aged 37 to 86, infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 716.

795 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 33,556.

388 people have recovered, 16,230 since the beginning of the pandemic.

There are currently 439 patients hospitalized with the virus, 16 are in intensive care, 5 are intubated in aggravated condition.

The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (236), Durrës (58), Korçë (52), Vlorë (51), Berat (50), Fier (42), Krujë (35), Pogradec (29), Kukës (27), Gjirokastër (20), Shkodër (19), Sarandë (19), Tropojë (18), Gramsh (16), Mirditë (15), Tepelenë (13), Mallakastër (12), Kurbin (11), Lezhë (11), Mat (11), Kuçovë (10), Has (7), Dibër (7), Lushnje (5), Delvinë (5), Malësi e Madhe (4), Bulqizë (4), Kolonjë (4), Devoll (3),  Kavajë (1).

16,610 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (8463), Fier (1257), Durrës (1222), Korçë (934), Shkodër (885), Vlorë (834), Elbasan (804), Lezhë (689), Berat (527), Gjirokastër (469), Kukës (375), Dibër (151).
