Eight people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1125. The victims’ age varies between 57 and 78.
510 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 54,827.
477 people have recovered; 30,276 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 346 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 21 are in intensive care, 13 are intubated in aggravated condition.

23,426 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (13089), Fier (1597), Durrës (1288), Korça (964), Vlora (1062), Shkodra (1313), Elbasan (925), Berat (886), Lezha (878), Gjirokastra (506), Kukës (488), and Dibër (430).
