Nineteen people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,715. The victims’ age varies between 41 and 85.
There were 1,021 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 103,327.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 906 people; 66,309 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 7970, of which 1242 doses today.
There are currently 647 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 45 in intensive care, and 16 intubated in aggravated condition.

35,303 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (22,294), Fier (2,714), Durrës (1,760), Vlorë (1,793), Shkodër (1,402), Elbasan (934), Lezhë (831), Berat (1,012), Korçë (946), Gjirokaster (939), Dibër (322), and Kukës (356).
