Albania COVID-19 Update 24 September: No Deaths, 134 Infections, 100 Recoveries

For the first time since July 9, Albania has registered no deaths related to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The death toll remains 370.

The distribution of deaths remains as follows: Tiranë (177), Durrës (46), Shkodër (40), Elbasan (24), Fier (19), Korçë (18), Lezhë (15), Kukës (10), Dibër (8), Vlorë (7), Gjirokastër (4), Berat (2).

134 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 12,921.

The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (61), Durrës (14), Elbasan (10), Shkodër (9), Fier (7), Korçë (5), Tropojë (5), Berat (4), Mat (4), two cases in Krujë, Vlorë, Mirditë, and one case in Lezhë, Has, Kavajë, Lushnje, Kamëz, Pogradec, Malësi e Madhe, Bulqizë, Vorë.

100 people have recovered, bringing the total to 7,239.

There are currently 186 patients hospitalized with the virus, 16 are in intensive care, 5 are intubated in aggravated condition.

5,312 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (2630), Durrës (576), Shkodër (380), Lezhë (302), Elbasan (300), Korçë (250), Fier (246), Vlorë (195), Kukës (154), Berat (108), Dibër (90), Gjirokastër (81).
