Nine people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1134. The victims’ age varies between 52 and 81.
553 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 55,380.
514 people have recovered; 30,790 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 309 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 22 are in intensive care, 9 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (230), Fier (46), Shkodër (33), Vlorë (32), Durrës (23), Elbasan (16), Lezhë (15), Korçë (14), Lushnje (13), Sarandë (12), Gjirokastër (10), Berat (9), Kamëz (8), Pogradec (7), Dibër (7), Krujë (6), Librazhd (5), Mat (5), Skrapar (5), Devoll (4), Ura Vajgurore (4), Kuçovë (4,) three cases in Kukës, Has, Përmet, Bulqizë, Memaliaj, Klos, Gramsh, two cases in Kurbin, Kavajë, Pukë, Delvinë, Tepelenë, Fushë Arrëz, Peqin, and one case in Rrogozhinë, Tropojë, Vau i Dejës, Belsh, Roskovec, Shijak, Vorë, Patos, Cërrik, Këlcyrë.
23,456 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (13156), Fier (1611), Durrës (1264), Korça (978), Vlora (1055), Shkodra (1329), Elbasan (917), Berat (871), Lezha (883), Gjirokastra (525), Kukës (487), and Dibër (380).
