Twenty people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,756. The victims’ age varies between 56 and 76.
There were 916 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 105,229.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 849 people; 68,007 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 11,136, of which 1,001 doses today.
There are currently 625 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 46 in intensive care, and 12 intubated in aggravated condition.
35,466 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (22,643), Fier (2,651), Durrës (1,673), Vlorë (1,791), Shkodër (1,363), Gjirokaster (1,028), Elbasan (887), Lezhë (837), Berat (957), Korçë (846), Dibër (371), and Kukës (353).
