Eight people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,192. The victims’ age varies between 35 and 74.
There were 449 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 123,216.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 589 people; 88,349 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 62,248, of which a record 2,900 doses today.
There are currently 343 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 18 in intensive care, and 10 intubated in aggravated condition.
32,675 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (22,357), Fier (2,592), Durrës (1,386), Vlorë (1,272), Shkodër (1,217), Gjirokaster (1,250), Korçë (774), Lezhë (549), Elbasan (427), Kukës (355), Dibër (322), Berat (174).
