Ten people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1153. The victims’ age varies between 55 and 80.
499 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 56,254.
384 people have recovered; 31,565 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 316 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 23 are in intensive care, 7 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (180), Durrës (36), Fier (29), Shkodër (21), Vlorë (19), Elbasan (16), Gjirokastër (16), Sarandë (15), Lushnje (13), Lezhë (12), Berat (12), Dibër (11), Pogradec (9), Kavajë (9), Mirditë (8), Mat (8), Kurbin (6), Përmet (6), Delvinë (6), Tepelenë (6), Korçë (5), Tropojë (4), Librazhd (4), Malësi e Madhe (4), three cases in Krujë, Kukës, Has, Peqin, Klos, Gramsh, Kuçovë, two cases in Rrogozhinë, Ura Vajgurore, Selenicë, Kolonjë, Shijak, Skrapar, Poliçan, and one case Devoll, Pukë, Mallakastër, Divjakë, Roskovec, Bulqizë, Memaliaj, Vorë, Këlcyrë.
23,536 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (13296), Fier (1585), Durrës (1286), Korça (963), Vlora (1072), Shkodra (1339), Elbasan (894), Berat (873), Lezha (865), Gjirokastra (528), Kukës (455), and Dibër (380).
