Eleven people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1164. The victims’ age varies between 51 and 81.
318 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 56,572.
557 people have recovered; 32,122 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 296 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 21 are in intensive care, 6 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (134), Fier (29), Vlorë (23), Sarandë (17), Lushnje (12), Durrës (11), Elbasan (8), Shkodër (7), Berat (7), Delvinë (7), Mirditë (6), Mallakastër (6), Kamëz (6), Korçë (5), Mat (5), Has (4), Gjirokastër (4), Dibër (4), Krujë (3), Lezhë (3), Kavajë (3), two cases in Rrogozhinë, Përmet, Tepelenë, Divjakë, Gramsh, and one case in Kurbin, Tropojë, Bulqizë, Skrapar.
23,286 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (13301), Fier (1573), Shkodra (1316), Durrës (1237), Vlora (1006), Korça (949), Elbasan (866), Berat (861), Lezha (837), Gjirokastra (511), Kukës (447), and Dibër (382).
