Six people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1170. The victims’ age varies between 65 and 88.
574 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 57,146.
578 people have recovered; 32,700 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 286 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 21 are in intensive care, 5 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (214), Lezhë (41), Elbasan (23), Lushnje (21), Fier (19), Durrës (18), Vlorë (17), Mat (17), Sarandë (17), Kurbin (15), Berat (15), Korçë (14), Kavajë (12), Krujë (11), Gjirokastër (9), Has (7), Shkodër (6), Pukë (6), Pogradec (6), Delvinë (6), Skrapar (6), Librazhd (5), Tepelenë (5), Peqin (5), Cërrik (5), Mirditë (4,) Përmet (4), Dibër (4), Bulqizë (4), Vorë (4), Patos (4), Rrogozhinë (3), Kamëz (3), Shijak (3), Kuçovë (3), two cases in Memaliaj, Klos, Gramsh, Poliçan, Këlcyrë, and one case in Kukës, Tropojë, Mallakastër, Vau- Dejës, Belsh, Prrenjas, Kolonjë, Libohovë.
23,276 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (13301), Fier (1573), Shkodra (1316), Durrës (1237), Vlora (1006), Korça (949), Elbasan (866), Berat (861), Lezha (837), Gjirokastra (511), Kukës (447), and Dibër (382).
