Four people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1174. The victims’ age varies between 70 and 73.
581 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 57,727.
485 people have recovered; 33,185 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 285 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 20 are in intensive care, 6 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (214), Durrës (37), Shkodër (33), Lezhë (27), Berat (27), Lushnje (23), Vlorë (19), Sarandë (17), Kavajë (16), Gjirokastër (16), Fier (14), Krujë (11), Kurbin (11), Mirditë (8), Korçë (7), Delvinë (7), Dibër (7), Mallakastër (6), Buqlizë (6), Cërrik (6), Kamëz (6), Elbasan (5), Tropojë (5), Pogradec (5), Skrapar (5), Patos (5), Has (4), Pukë (3), Mat (3), Përmet (3), Peqin (3), Gramsh (3), two cases in Kukës, Ura Vajgurore, Malësi e Madhe, Klos, Poliçan, and one case in Tepelenë, Selenicë, Kolonjë, Shijak, Maliq.
23,368 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (13432), Fier (1591), Shkodra (1300), Durrës (1220), Vlora (1011), Korça (948), Lezha (884), Elbasan (877), Berat (784), Gjirokastra (491), Kukës (431), and Dibër (399).
