Twelve people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 810.
About 52 percent of deaths related to the novel coronavirus have occurred since October 1.
557 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 38,182. Since October 1, Albania has seen 24,533 cases, or about 64 percent of the total.
368 people have recovered, 18,849 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 491 patients hospitalized with the virus, 32 are in intensive care, 7 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (254), Durrës (46), Lezhë (38), Vlorë (31), Elbasan (27), Shkodër (25), Korçë (25), Lushnje (22), Sarandë (16), Krujë (13), Gjirokastër (11), Kavajë (8), Fier (7), Has (7), Kolonjë (6), Kukës (4), Gramsh (4), Devoll (3), Mat (3), Pogradec (3), and one case in Kurbin, Pukë, Berat, Skrapar.
18,523 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (9576), Fier (1367), Durrës (1360), Korçë (997), Vlorë (974), Shkodër (904), Elbasan (841), Lezhë (734), Berat (604), Gjirokastër (555), Kukës (406), Dibër (205).
