Eleven people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,380. The victims’ age varies between 36 and 80.
876 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 78,127. This is a record in daily cases in Albania since the beginning of the pandemic, as it has been during the last 4 days due to the increasing numbers of tests administered.
497 people have recovered; 47,424 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 343 patients hospitalized with the virus, a significant increase compared to the 287 patients of the previous day. 19 patients are in intensive care, 6 are intubated in aggravated condition.

29,323 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (16807), Fier (2326), Durrës (1623), Shkodër (1447), Elbasan (1383), Vlorë (1347), Lezhë (1046), Korçë (936), Berat (891), Gjirokaster (605), Dibër (433), and Kukës (479).
