Eighteen people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 870.
About 56 percent of deaths related to the novel coronavirus, or exactly 483 deaths have occurred since October.
801 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 41,302. About 67 percent (27,653) of the total cases have occurred in the last two months.
490 people have recovered, 20,974 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 483 patients hospitalized with the virus, 35 are in intensive care, 10 are intubated in aggravated condition.

19,458 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (10503), Fier (1443), Durrës (1315), Korçë (987), Vlorë (963), Shkodër (868), Elbasan (799), Lezhë (734), Berat (651), Gjirokastër (539), Kukës (404), Dibër (247).
