Albania COVID-19 Update 4 March: 20 Deaths, 847 Infections, 777 Recoveries

Twenty people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,876. The victims’ age varies between 63 and 85.

There were 847 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 110,521.

Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 777 people; 72,853 since the beginning of the pandemic.

The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 16,807, of which 1014 doses today.

There are currently 609 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 43 in intensive care, and 10 intubated in aggravated condition.

The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (320), Vlorë (48), Shkodër (46), Durrës (36), Fier (35), Kuçovë (30), Sarandë (26), Kurbin (25), Gjirokastër (25), Kavajë (23), Mallakastër (19), Përmet (19), Krujë (18), Korçë (18), Elbasan (17), Kamëz (13), Kolonjë (13), Lezhë (10), Bulqizë (10), Berat (8), Pogradec (8), Malësi e Madhe (8), Kukës (7), Mirditë (6), Tepelenë (6), Devoll (5), Lushnje (5), Mat (4), Gramsh (4), Rrogozhinë (3), Librazhd (3), Memaliaj (3), Cerrik (3), two cases in Has, Pukë, Delvinë, Vau i Dejës, Belsh, Dibër, Roskovec, Peqin, Vorë, and one case in Tropojë, Divjakë, Shijak, Skrapar, Poliçan, Libohovë.

35,792 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (23,331), Fier (2,626), Vlorë (1,827), Durrës (1,632), Shkodër (1,345), Gjirokaster (1,118), Korçë (883), Elbasan (837), Lezhë (798), Berat (731), Dibër (345), and Kukës (337).
