Nine people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,283. The victims’ age varies between 65 and 82.
There were 141 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 126,936. This is the lowest number of daily infections since September 29, 2020.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 604 people; 95,035 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 256 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 19 in intensive care, and 6 intubated in aggravated condition.
29,618 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (21,182), Fier (2,582), Durrës (1,262), Gjirokaster (1,245), Shkodër (1,085), Vlorë (789), Korçë (775), Kukës (351), Dibër (336), Elbasan (277), Lezhë (152), Berat (53).
