Twenty one people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,918. The victims’ age varies between 22 and 87.
There were 777 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 112,078.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 742 people; 74,352 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 19,357, of which 1110 doses today.
There are currently 639 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 35 in intensive care, and 7 intubated in aggravated condition.
35,808 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (23,411), Fier (2,565), Vlorë (1,757), Durrës (1,653), Shkodër (1,372), Gjirokaster (1,198), Korçë (922), Elbasan (800), Lezhë (771), Berat (663), Dibër (362), and Kukës (334).
