Six people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,223. The victims’ age varies between 57 and 84.
697 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 61,705.
433 people have recovered; 36,535 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 260 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 19 are in intensive care, 3 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (202), Durrës (55), Vlorë (44), Shkodër (39), Lushnje (33), Berat (26), Fier (22), Dibër (22), Elbasan (20), Lezhë (20), Kavajë (19), Mat (18), Sarandë (18), Kurbin (15), Kuçovë (14), Krujë (13), Gjirokastër, Kukës (9), Librazhd (9), Pogradec (9), Mirditë (7), Gramsh (6), Korçë (5), Divjakë (5), Klos (5), Kamëz (4), Delvinë (4), Vau i Dejës (4), Vorë (4), three cases in Tropojë, Bulqizë, Peqin, Shijak, Skrapar, two cases in Has, Rrogozhinë, Përmet, Ura Vajgurore, Roskovec, Patos, Libohovë, Konispol, and one case in Devoll, Mallakastër, Himarë, Cerrik, Këlcyrë.
23,947 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (13857), Fier (1743), Shkodra (1309), Durrës (1238), Vlora (960), Lezha (958), Korça (881), Elbasan (851), Berat (776), Dibër (515), Gjirokaster (457),and Kukës (402).
