Twelve people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,472. The victims’ age varies between 54 and 76.
The number of new cases today was 953, while total cases have amounted to 86,289.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 684 people; 52,128 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 449 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 36 in intensive care, and 15 intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (372), Durrës (145), Vlorë (83), Elbasan (48), Sarandë (48), Gjirokastër (33), Fier (29), Korçë (22), Kukës (13), Berat (13), Mat (13), Kavajë (12), Shkodër (9), Tepelenë (9), Lushnje (8), Vorë (8), Peqin (7), Kurbin (6), Lezhë (6), Mirditë (6), Kolonjë (6), Gramsh (6), Kamëz (5), Librazhd (4), Pogradec (4), Bulqizë (4), Kuçovë (4), Mallakastër (3), Dibër (3), Skrapar (3), Krujë (2), Tropojë (2), Delvinë (2), Fushë-Arrëz (2), Malësi e Madhe (2), Cërrik (2), Lobohovë (2), and one case in Devoll, Has, Vau i Dejës, Belsh, Roskove, Klos, Poliçan.
32,689 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (18905), Fier (2779), Durrës (1784), Elbasan (1563), Shkodër (1512), Vlorë (1542), Lezhë (1118), Korçë (1021), Berat (895), Gjirokaster (707), Kukës (474), and Dibër (389).
