Albania, Croatia, Kosovo to Hold Regular Meetings on Foreign Policy

Albania, Croatia and Kosovo will hold annual meetings of foreign ministers, according to Albanian acting minister Genc Cakaj.

Following yesterday’s meeting in Tirana with his Croatian counterpart Gordan Grlić Radman, today Cakaj stated that together with Kosovo’s Glauk Konjufca they had decided to launch this three-party initiative.

“The aim of this initiative is to hold regular meetings at the level of foreign ministers to create common political platforms and develop concrete projects in the common interest.
[…]
This initiative will serve to deepen relations between our countries, but also to implement common strategic objectives especially in the field of foreign policy.”

The first meeting is expected to be held this year in Albania.

Minister Radman visited Albania and North Macedonia on Monday, on the day of the European Commission’s report on their EU accession progress, where he expressed Croatia’s full support for the opening of EU talks with both countries.
