A 71-year-old woman infected with coronavirus died on Wednesday evening in the Infectious Disease Hospital in Tirana.
The Ministry of Health reported that the patient had been in intensive care due to pulmonary complications, and that she also suffered from hypertension.
She is the sixth victim in Albania infected with COVID-19.
Latest reports on Wednesday showed 146 cases in total, with 17 patients having recovered already.
