A video published on May 3 by the Albanian Ministry of Health showcases how Albanian medical professionals have experienced the coronavirus pandemic.
Doctors and nurses spoke about the stress and fear they felt when handling infected cases, as well as the difficulty of diagnosing this novel disease.
They also talked about their fear of infecting their own families. Head Nurse Lediana Hida said that she has to take great care so that her two daughters will not be infected, while pneumologist Irma Tashi admitting that she hadn’t seen her family in over a month, since the hospital she works at, “Shefqet Ndroqi”, was assigned to treat coronavirus infected cases.
