Albanian Migrants Can Help to Ease UK Petrol Crisis, Claims Albanian Ambassador

Albanian migrants can help to immediately man the operation for delivering petrol to petrol stations across the UK , according to Qirjako Qirko, the Albanian Ambassador to London.

Qirko told the Guardian, on Sunday, that hundreds of more than 140 thousands Albanian migrants living in the UK might qualify as truck drivers, and they’d be willing to work for free out of gratitude for their new home country.

UK is facing a petrol crisis Uk, due to severe supply shortages in the retail sector. Long ques at petrol stations, disruption of transportation and supplies have affected the entire country, in particular southeast Britain.

British Government has explained that there is enough petrol in the country’s refineries, but there are not enough truck drivers to supply the retailers.

The government is looking to hire qualified drivers to start immediate simultaneous deliveries to thousands of petrol stations.

More than 100 military personal will start to assist the operation and provide temporary relief, but more drives would be needed to restore normality of supply.
