Albanian Minister of Interior Affairs Sandër Lleshaj has warned of his departure from the government.
During a ceremony held with the “Eagles” (Shqiponjat) police task force in Vlora, Lleshaj said that he would not serve as Minister again once his current term is up.
Earlier, Minister of Education Besa Shahini also announced that, at the end of her term, the April 25 elections, she will leave the government, and will not even participate in the elections.
It is not known whether the Ministers’ announcements have to do with Prime Minister Edi Rama’s decision to bring back former ministers from his first cabinet to the head of the Socialist Party’s local branches, thus leaving out all technical ministers.
