Head of the Albanian Democratic Party Lulzim Basha has tweeted his public thanks to US Congressman Eliot Engel for the latter’s support towards Albania and Kosovo.

Basha’s message of gratitude comes after the US Foreign Affairs Committee, chaired by Engel, criticized the Kosovo Specialist Chambers’ approach to war crimes that took place during the Kosovo war, as well as the EU for not making prosecution of war criminals an accession condition for Serbia.
