Albanian Prosecutors File Charges Over Earthquake Damaged Property

The Tirana prosecutor’s office has filed charges against five defendants for abuse of office following damage incurred to buildings after the 26 November 2019 earthquake.

According to prosecutor’s, the two-year investigation showed that the former head of the town planning office in Farke approved construction permits in the absence of the correct documentation.
