Albanian Tourism Season to Last Until November

The 2020 tourist season will last until November 15, as a way to make up for lost months due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Tourism Minister Blendi Klosi made the announcement today and promised that this summer there will be more public beaches where citizens can relax without paying.

Klosi said that all hotels and restaurants that will want to manage the beaches in front of their business, must apply on the e-Albania portal from 1 to 15 June and self-declare that they will comply with the governments’ hygiene conditions.

During inspections by state institutions, all those businesses that do not comply with health protocols and hygiene conditions will be fined and closed, so as not to endanger the lives of citizens.
