Anyone travelling from Albania to Italy is required to notify the authorities upon their return and to quarantine at home for 14 days.
This comes following a steady increase of cases in Albania while Italy has continued to decrease.
The Albanian Embassy in Italy announced that anyone coming via Albania to Italy must sign a self-declaration form where they admit they haven’t been infected with COVID-19. They also must declare that to the best of their knowledge, they have not had close contact with anyone else who is confirmed to have the disease.
Albanian citizens are only able to travel to Italy at the moment if they have a residence permit.
