The Independent Qualification Commission has dismissed Tirana Appellate Judge, Flutura Skenderi after she was unable to provide justification for her wealth.
Judge Skenderi was unable to provide information regarding 2.8 million ALL of her income.
The judge appeared before the KPC panel two days ago and through investigations into her reputation, professional skills, and wealth, she failed to pass the latter.
During the KPC hearing, it was said that there were “shortcomings in the declaration of assets and her relationship with a company. It turns out she cannot justify the income totalling 2.8 Million ALL.”
Problems were also found with her daughter’s education. She was educated in Malta and then the UK but the KPC were unable to establish how those expenses could have been covered. Both the UK and Malta have exceptionally high costs of living and University fees reach tens of thousands per year.
